Gruppo Sigel Poland has leased nearly 3,700 sqm of modern warehouse and office space in REINO IO Park Sosnowiec. The tenant was advised by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield for the search for the new location and during the lease negotiations and strategy development.

Gruppo Sigel operates in the wood industry, specialising in processing and distributing wood panels, including chipboard, MDF, HDF, OSB, combipan, blockboard and laminated plywood, for use in the home appliance, furniture, construction and automotive sectors.

“The relocation to the new warehouse has enabled us to meet the requirements of the most demanding clients from the home appliance and furniture sectors. The facility will also support our growth in the coming years by allowing us to expand our machinery and launch new products for campervans and yachts. The modern warehouse is the showcase of our company - we are proud of it,” says Anna Nielaba, Managing Director, Gruppo Sigel Poland.

In REINO IO Park Sosnowiec, Gruppo Sigel has leased approximately 3,400 sqm of production and warehouse space and a 260 sqm office.

“The search for a new location for Gruppo Sigel was driven by two priorities: the new facility had to be suited to production operations and located close to the company’s former warehouse. REINO IO Park Sosnowiec met both requirements. The facility features a designated area with skylights providing 12.5% natural light and is adequately heated to provide a comfortable work environment. Additionally, the new warehouse offers ground-level access which is essential for efficient loading and transport of Gruppo Sigel’s products. The transaction highlights Silesia’s strong position as a major industrial hub in Poland. According to our ‘Mines of Business’ report, Silesia has nearly 5.5 million sqm of warehouse and industrial stock, 32% of which, or 1.7 million sqm, was built in the last three years. This makes it the second largest warehouse market in the country,” comments Katarzyna Dębska, Negotiator, Industrial and Logistics Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.

REINO IO Park Sosnowiec is a modern logistics park offering more than 43,000 sqm of class A warehouse and production space for lease. It is located along the S1 expressway, which connects to the A4 motorway at the Mysłowice junction.

“The signing of the lease with Gruppo Sigel and the addition of the company to our tenant portfolio are a testament to the high quality of our space and our flexibility in addressing client needs, which we consider crucial. Despite the many challenges of the Upper Silesian market, the new lease has brought the park to full occupancy,” comments Robert Szafarz, Senior Leasing Manager, REINO IO Logistics.
