Damian Kolata, EMEA L&I Operating Board Member, Head of Industrial & Logistics / E-Commerce CEE at global consulting agency Cushman & Wakefield, a manager with 20 years of experience, focusing on how companies work together across the logistics supply chain.

He was responsible for purchasing, demand forecasting and inventory management, distribution organization, as well as e-commerce operations for Europe's largest fashion platfoma in warehouses of more than a hundred football fields, with a workforce that exceeded the population of Szklarska Poreba. He developed logistics and e-commerce for ThyssenKrupp, TZMO S.A. and FIEGE.

Member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, academic lecturer at the EU in Poznań and WSB in Toruń, board member of the E-Commerce Logistics Expert Association. Co-author of the publications "E-Business Bible 3.0" and "Profitable E-Commerce". He is passionate about E-Commerce logistics and its impact on the increasing demands on warehouse space.

Industrial market is relatively young but also needs optimisation

Polish e-commerce surpasses pre-Covid growth forecasts by nearly four years

CEE is one of the most promising locations for e-commerce, according to The Future of E-commerce, the latest report from global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. In addition, data from Cushman & Wakefield shows that Poland accounts for over half of the turnover reported in the CEE region. The growth outlook for the Polish e-commerce sector is even more positive, as logistics costs in Poland - which are strategically important for e-commerce - are 18% lower than in the Czech Republic and 50% lower than in Germany.
