„We are delighted to have once again been able to advise DSV on the choice of warehouse space for its transport operations. Very good cooperation with LCube and understanding of our client's needs translated into a solution in the form of a dedicated unit, which fulfils the function of a cross-dock and can handle shipments containing dangerous goods (ADR)” – said Paulina Machałowska, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield Polska.
Warehouses in Rzeszów
LCube Rzeszów Airport is an industrial and warehouse park developed in phases, with construction starting in 2021. On a 5.5-ha site, 25,800 sqm of modern Class A warehouse space has been created. DSV will have access to 2,500 sqm of warehouse space and 360 sqm of office space.
Cooperation with DSV in the light of a billion-dollar investment programme and the green transformation of TSL
The space at LCube Rzeszów Airport, a modern facility located close to the airport in Jasionka, is an interesting addition to DSV's warehouse resources, especially after the announcement of a five-year investment programme worth more than PLN 1 billion. The programme is aimed at strengthening Poland's position in European and global supply chains and supporting the green transformation in the TSL industry. The programme includes the development of both own warehouse projects and activity in the market of leasing high-standard warehouse space with ecological solutions.
Sustainable investments
For DSV, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and environmental issues are extremely important, as they are for LCube.
The warehouse to be leased by DSV has been awarded a BREEAM certificate of very good. Among other things, the entire facility is equipped with LED lighting and a sewage system fault detection system with automatic water shut-off. There are insect boxes, bicycle shelters and charging stations for electric cars. In addition, the roof has been fitted with a deflection monitoring system and reinforced to allow the installation of photovoltaic panels.
