Take-up in Q3 stood at 390,000 sq m, a slight decrease compared to the almost 450,000 sq m leased in the same period in 2012, and 500,000 sq m during Q2 of this year. Lease extensions accounted for 55% of total takeup, new lease agreements made up 38%, and lease expansion 7%. As in previous years, take-up predominantly came from logistics operators (close to 34%) and retail chains (10%). Worth mentioning is also the rising share of companies from the food sector (18%). Approximately 143,000 sq m of modern warehouse space was delivered in Q3 2013.
