Marketbeat: Poland warehouse market - Q2 2013 [REPORT]

Modern warehouse take-up in the second quarter of 2013 stood at 500,000 sq m compared to 300,000 sq m witnessed in the same period in 2012 and, 377,000 in Q1 2013. New lease agreements accounted for 65% of total take-up, lease extensions made up 28%, and lease expansions 7%. As in previous years, take-up predominantly came from logistics operators (close to 30%) and retailers (20%). Worth also mentioning is the rising share of companies from the light production sector (12%) which took new space.
