Long-term cooperation with record-breaking results
Since the beginning of its cooperation, Raben Group has signed lease agreements with Panattoni, covering over 210,000 square metres of space. The cooperation between the two companies in Wielkopolska is of particular importance, as the first project, of 26,000 square metres, was completed over a decade ago. This year, the logistics operator has already leased 12,000 square metres at Panattoni Park Poznań XII in Swadzim, and has now broken the record for the amount of space occupied by a single company within the City Logistics segment, which is 44,000 square metres on Obodrzycka Street in Poznań. Logistics operations at City Logistics Poznań III are scheduled to start in July 2024.
Investment with an eye on ESG
This facility is in line with Raben Group's climate policy, which recently received a silver EcoVadis award, placing it among the 25% of companies worldwide that integrate non-financial (ESG) factors into their strategies and operations.
The development will be built to the highest standards of sustainable construction, as evidenced by BREEAM certification at Excellent level and FM Global certification from the world's largest US insurance company. The tenant will benefit from energy- and water-saving solutions, as well as user well-being amenities. In addition, Panattoni will ensure biodiversity within the project by creating green areas within the development.
Poznan - the place where logistics meets the future
Poznań is a strategic logistics hub in Europe, connecting Poland and Germany. Entrepreneurs with an international reach always keep a close eye on this location. For Raben Group, it is not only access to a logistics park close to the A2 motorway, which will enable it to serve various national and European markets, but also an investment within the city, which creates attractive conditions for attracting qualified employees.
The new warehouse in Wielkopolska will enable us to develop cooperation with our regular customers, as well as to increase the possibility of conducting new projects in this strategically important location for Poland and Europe. These spaces will not only meet Raben Group's highest safety, operational and environmental standards, but will also complement our portfolio in Poznan with specialised storage areas such as city logistics, temperature and humidity controlled storage. Thanks to the new warehouses, we will be able to provide comprehensive logistics services, including warehousing and a full range of additional services, as well as container, customs and distribution services. Good transport connections to Germany, Scandinavia and other countries of Western Europe through our European distribution network, combined with the stable operations offered in this region for years, may influence further decisions on the location of central European warehouses in Wielkopolska, - says Lucyna Zaborowska-Princ, Regional Director of Raben Logistics Polska in the Poznań region
