The Stokrotka grocery chain has leased nearly 6,900 sq m of warehouse and office space in Accolade’s Panattoni Park Białystok II in Choroszcz.

Stokrotka expands and invests in warehouses

Stokrotka was founded in Lublin in 1994. It now comprises over 900 stores throughout Poland and continues its fast-paced expansion into new locations. Stokrotka offers a vast array of consumer goods at attractive prices, with a special focus on fresh produce from local suppliers and its own branded products.

„As we continue to grow our business at pace, we consistently expand our logistics base. Stokrotka is on course to open its 1000th store this year. We have therefore turned our focus onto class A warehouses that are fully tailored to the needs of the food sector as they allow us to deliver the highest quality products to customers at all times,” – says Daria Raganowicz, PR and External Communication Specialist, Stokrotka.

Modern amenities at Panattoni Park Białystok II

In Panattoni Park Białystok II, Stokrotka will occupy close to 6,700 sq m of warehouse space and approximately 200 sq m of office space.

„Stokrotka’s lease in the Panattoni industrial park builds on our successful partnership. It is yet another recent transaction of the retailer on which we had the pleasure of advising. Stokrotka’s presence in the Białystok warehouse market is testament to the huge investment potential of Eastern Poland, including the Podlasie region. The consistent growth in modern industrial and logistics stock and further infrastructure projects in the vicinity of Białystok will enhance the economic attractiveness of this region,” – comments Kamil Żach, Key Account Executive, Associate, Industrial Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.

Panattoni Park Białystok II comprises two warehouse buildings with a combined area of approximately 36,000 sq m. Each features modern loading docks, grade-level doors, large truck courts and spacious offices with customizable lay-outs. The park has been developed in accordance with sustainable construction standards and is compliant with the requirements of BREEAM “Very Good” certification.

Investment potential of Bialystok and the development of the region

It is another successful completion for Panattoni in Podlasie which provided close to 80,000 sq m of industrial space.

„Białystok has a huge yet untapped potential. By delivering modern industrial space, Panattoni supports the growth of the region, which is a growing destination for both Polish and international investors. Panattoni Park Białystok II in Chroszcz benefits from its proximity to the S8 expressway, which provides easy access to such cities as Warsaw, Łódź and Wrocław. The Polish capital is just two hours away. In addition, the park is located close to a planned junction of S19 (Via Carpatia), a transport route along the eastern border of the European Union – running from Lithuania through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania to Greece. This will enhance the international potential of the park,” – says Dorota Jagodzińska, Managing Director, Panattoni. "Ever since our first speculative development in the region was fully let, Panattoni Park Białystok II has also seen unwavering demand. This reaffirms that Podlasie needs modern industrial stock and our task is to meet demand for such space." – she adds.
